Main Responsibilities


As a Sales & Customer Specialist, your primary goal will be to support sales efforts by booking 20-30 discovery calls per month, managing customer interactions, and assisting with various tasks within the growth team. You'll engage in multi-channel outreach using phone calls, emails, messages, video messages, and LinkedIn, working closely with prospects to schedule discovery calls.

You will also play an active role in inbound lead follow-ups, re-scheduling coaching sessions and other customer service related tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in psychology and leadership and eager to grow their skills in sales and customer service.

  • Personally reach out to prospects using varied strategies (phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to schedule discovery calls.
  • Handle inbound lead follow-ups, booking, and scheduling tasks, as well as rescheduling and managing coaching sessions as needed.
  • Maintain and update CRM data to ensure customer information is accurate and track progress for future outreach.
  • Collaborate actively with the growth team to support daily activities and contribute to growth initiatives.
  • Support in customer service, conducting feedback calls, and managing event logistics or other ad-hoc activities.
  • Support in multi-channel prospecting efforts, focusing on identifying and qualifying leads with genuine sales potential.

What is expected from you?

  • Some experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory. More importantly, a strong eagerness to learn and develop within the role is key.
  • An interest in sales and enthusiasm for learning new skills and techniques.
  • Resilience and consistency in making calls and reaching out to prospects without significant emotional strain.
  • Strong active listening skills and ability to engage in meaningful conversations with customers.
  • Team-oriented mindset: the ability to work collaboratively, share knowledge, and learn from others.
  • Basic proficiency in digital tools (e.g., CRM software like Pipedrive) is a plus.
  • Curiosity to ask questions, actively seek information, and receptiveness to new ideas and learning opportunities.
  • Effective communication skills (both Finnish and English) across multiple channels and with both customers and team members.

Typically, you get to work with each client for more than 6 months which makes it possible to build meaningful relationships and work on complex topics.

Compensation

And did we mention that you also get paid for doing this? Compensation covers a monthly salary of 3 800€ - 4 600€ and employee benefits (a laptop, a phone + Epassi).

Our recruitment process

A Coffee Chat (~30 min)

Lasse will call you to explore your background and career interests.  He'll also give you an overview of what working at Laavu is like and answer any questions you have. The aim is to see if we're a good match for each other.

Competence interview
(1 h)

A face-to-face discussion on your motivation and competencies with Lasse at our office in Hakaniemi. In addition to your profile, we encourage you to challenge us with your questions regarding the position and working at Laavu.

Assignment presentation (1.5h)

All remaining applicants are given an assignment which they will present to Lasse and Salla. Be prepared to answer questions regarding your assignment, competences and motivation.
